In 1954 Zeisel designed "Prestige" glassware shapes for Federal Glass Co. of Ohio.  In one of the earliest uses of mass production, the glasses were produced in molds at the rate of one per second.  In 1961, Federal Glass added a second Zeisel design to their line, the more "modern" Stockholm shape.  Both designs were produced in a variety of colors and patterns and decorated with decals and ornamentation that ranged from elegant to silly.  One way or the other, they were ubiquitous.
